gratitude
October 5, 2011
As I’m sifting through my thoughts on finishing my thesis, it reminds me of other milestones and other goals reached. It seems like one of the overwhelming emotions is always gratitude. I was reflecting on gratitude as a feeling. It is nice, of course, for the person on the receiving end, but it also plays a role in reaching goals and formulating the next ones because it is full of positive memories and expectations. Taking that just a bit further, I’d go so far as to say gratitude is good for vision improvement. Expressing gratitude is something of a relief, isn’t it? I didn’t get this far by myself! Which might at first sound like diminishing an accomplishment, but really, it’s also recognizing that I can reach for even greater challenges, and I don’t have to go it alone. It is almost always possible to accomplish more when working together and being greatful of the people who help me is a reminder of this.
In that spirit, I’d like to thank all of you long time readers/commenters on my blog as well as those who just peak in or are new to my blog. All that positive energy picked me up when I was down about my thesis. Also, it served as a continuing motivation to keep on improving my vision. Your comments remind me of how far I’ve come, what I’ve learned, and most importantly, I learn so much from your various perspectives! Thank you for teaching me! Plus, whenenver I do learn something new about my vision, the process of writing down the experience, and thinking about how I would explain it to others, almost always leads to more insights. I have definitely learned more from teaching my experiences on this blog than if I had just let my thoughts settle in the back of my head. So thank you, all of you out there, for helping me in your own way, by commenting, asking questions, and even just reading (higher page views are motivating!).

Hi Sorrisi!
I’m very happy for you! Take some time to let your brain cool down because I know that you deserve it!
Don’t forget that in life, each finish line is the start of a new race, so even if from your viewpoint it’s finished, don’t worry, something is going to happen soon in your life. No matter what it is, it will come. You know, many things happens in our life at the most unexpected moments.
It might be a good time to go walk in a forest, for no special reasons, just for enjoying the nature and thinking about life in general. It is good to connect with our environment in such moments.
Have a nice day of improvements!

Yes Sorrisi,
You reminded me how gratitude is so related to the first principle of clear vision and good eyesight.
Since Stress and mental strain are major contributing causes of poor vision and blurry eyesight, relaxation is naturally one ingredient to improvement or correction.
Relaxation is the ‘underpinning’ and the ‘warp and woof’ of self healing of eyesight.
Thanks for reminding about gratitude.
You have opened my mind to deeper thought about gratitude as it relates to helping my cleints see clearly without glasses, contacts or surgery.
Thank you for being who your are and doing all the things you do.

Hi Sorrisi
Synergy is the right word.
I enjoyed reading Stefanie’s blog and am inspired at her determination to go to such length to gain clarity in her eyesight.
This surely will carry over into other areas of her life.
And finding your blog was also serendipity. I was looking for something else and up popped your blog.
I trust that your thesis is going well. Today as I write this I can visualize you being congratulated and awarded highest honors for receiving and sharing Truth.
Stay Well and Be Blessed
